American Revolution Scavenger Hunt
When: May 2, 2017, Leave 8:30 AM Return by dismissal
Where: Lexington & Concord: Lexington Green, Minuteman Visitor Center, Hartwell Tavern, Concord Burial Ground and the North Bridge.
Who: 5th Graders!!!
Why: Scavenger Hunt to discover history and explore the start of the American Revolution using Amos Doolittle prints.
Students will be studying the causes and start of the American Revolution using primary source documents including the now famous Amos Doolittle prints (above) . Students will be exploring the actual sites of these locations, taking photos and then linking the photos back at school using Google Maps.
Students need to bring a bag lunch with no glass bottles (no lunchboxes please). Students are advised to have a hearty breakfast as there will not be a snack time before lunch at 12:15 PM. Students should dress for outdoor activities.
