The Memorial School 4th and 5th graders will have a terrific assembly presented by the Boston Bruins Organization.  The assembly will be on Tuesday, January 17th. The students will be put through a fitness routine during the program.  There will be small prizes handed out to the children and photo opportunities. Celebrating Holidays Around the World

Mrs. Burns ELA Class completed their Holiday Around the World presentations this week. Students chose a country they wanted to research and then pretended they had an exchange student staying with them for the holidays. How would they be able to incorporate some of their exchange student's customs and traditions? 5th Grade investigators found out! Here's what we all learned.

5th Grade Publishing Party

5th Grade Writers in Mrs. Burns' ELA Class got to celebrate their finished narrative stories by toasting all the authors with some champagne (O.K. its was sparking water but we pretended). All the authors have worked very hard on revising and editing their stories to be able to tell you about a moment in their lives they will always remember.  Students then got to walk around the room and read a lot of stories. You can read some of our narrative stories at this link :Kidblog

Congrats Authors!
