STOCK MARKET GAME FINAL RESULTS ARE IN....




This was our 1st time EVER participating in the Stock Market Game and 4 out of our 5 teams made the top 50 teams in the state and all teams made the top 100! Excellent effort from all teams. All the teams were very close to each other with $109,120.28 being the winner of the Stock Market Game for the state- only $9,711.21 more than Memorial's top team.
Congratulations to all of Memorial's teams...here are the results below.

Team JSMA #1 at Memorial  (Jensine, Makenna, Adelaide and Sydney P)
Total Equity at end of game : $99,409.07 and ranked 32nd in the state!!!

Team Money Makers #2 at Memorial (Aarav, Shashank, Yianni and Kris)
Total Equity at end of game: $99, 115.34 and ranked 37th in the state!!

Team Stock Monkeys #3 at Memorial ( Sydney H, Colleen, Chloe, and Jenna)
Total Equity at end of game: $98,905.62 and ranked 44th in the state!!

Team Stock IARI #4 at Memorial ( Sam, Brendan, Nihal and Billy)
Total Equity at end of game: $98,278.65 and ranked 48th in the state!!

Team Stock $TOCK$QUAD #5 at Memorial ( TJ, Max, Sami and Georgish)
Total Equity at end of game: $95,595.12 and ranked 71st in the state!!

family back into their home.

MCBA Book Award Winners Announced!



Today at Memorial School, the MCBA (Massachusetts Children's Book Award) winners were announced at lunch.  Students got to watch some of the I-Movies that 5th graders created about their pick for best book. As in every past year, Memorial School students top pick for winner was the state's top pick and award winner too!   
This year's winner :Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper.
All fourth and fifth grade students who participated were celebrated today. We even had some fifth graders honored that read more than 20 books!  We even had a few that read all 25 books!  The book winners are listed below on these cool book marks that our wonderful library staff created!  Congrats to all our readers!
