5th Grade Catches Olympic Fever

Friday afternoon 5th Graders participated in the 5th Grade Olympics. Each homeroom picked a continent to represent: 231- Asia 232- Europe 234- Africa 235- Americas and each homeroom hosted an Olympic Event.  231- Shotput  232- Javelin  234- Long Jump and 235- Discus Throw

Here are the medal winners from 232:

Norway was awarded the Gold Medal for the Javelin Throw.

Ireland was awarded the Silver Medal for the Javelin Throw.

     
                                          Italy was awarded the Gold Medal for Discus Throw.

                               Czech Republic was awarded Bronze Medal in Javelin Throw AND
                            was awarded the Gold Medal for highest combined overall score for
                           all events for Europe teams.
