Math Centers Today

Mrs. Burns' math classes got to explore some decimal math centers today. Students played Decimal Concentration where they matched the same decimal written in word form, expanded form and represented in place value grids. The True and False game had students determining if the decimal equation was True or False. Students worked with a teacher on the Place Value Number Sort to determine if two decimals were x10 greater or 1/10 smaller.  Lastly, students really enjoyed playing Decimal War and finding out who won by determining which student had the biggest decimal.
