Mrs. R posted this on her blog today about our classrooms. If your student forgot something and it's after 3:00pm (generally a little later on M,W, and TH as I typically stay until 3:30ish) our classroom door will be locked and you will not be able to enter the classroom. I will remind students to make sure they have all their things to the best of my ability. Thank you!
"Classroom Security Classroom doors are locked when the teacher leaves for the day to ensure that teacher materials and student belongings are safe and secure. In the interest of classroom security, we ask that any belongings left behind at school remain there until the following morning. In addition to the security aspect, this will encourage children to be more responsible and resourceful students.
